Summary: The Quality Excellence Lead is a part-time role focused on enhancing quality management systems within a life sciences context. The position requires a leader with extensive experience in quality assurance to drive improvements and ensure compliance with industry regulations. The role is based in Altrincham and aims to support the company's mission of delivering high-quality medical writing solutions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Critically review, refresh and update all quality management systems, including Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Templates, Checklists and Guidelines
- Lead the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and reduce quality risks
- Support innovation projects and change management activities
- Conduct internal audits and support preparations for client audits and inspections
- Keep up to date with current regulatory requirements and developments for Good Clinical Practice and ISO9001
- Ensure all business operations are in compliance with policies, procedures, and standards
- Lead the company to ISO9001 certification
Key Skills:
- Experience (5+ Years) within Quality Assurance/Continuous Improvement or similar roles, within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- Passionate about healthcare and life sciences, and creating real value for our customers
- Excellent knowledge of industry regulations (including ISO9001 and Good Clinical Practice)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and other office software and tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
