Summary: The Quality Engineer role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of Project and Operational Quality Management within the nuclear sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Project and Operational Quality Management and Control.
- Day-to-day operational Quality Management and Control for projects and/or processes.
- Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with contractual specifications and business processes.
- Reviewing client specifications and producing Project Quality Plans.
- Flowing down client Quality requirements to functions and suppliers.
- Producing contract-specific procedures.
Key Skills:
- AWE and/or Nuclear experience.
- Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance or related subject.
- Proven Engineering, Business Management, Manufacturing, or related field experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, EN 3834, EN1090.
- Lead/Internal Auditor in ISO 9001.
- NCR generation and management experience.
- Experience of working to Quality Control Grading.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry.
- Understanding of process improvement.
