Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality assurance within EPCm project environments.
  • Conduct quality audits using techniques and tools such as ISO 19011.
  • Oversee engineering and procurement documentation and workflows.
  • Achieve mechanical completion on projects, including pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
  • Monitor compliance with quality standards like ISO 9001.
  • Implement and manage the right first time (R1T) process throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform self-verification and oversight responsibilities for site and offsite activities.

Key Skills:

  • Technical/Quality Management qualification HNC or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in quality assurance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pipelines and welding codes (BS 4515, API 1104).
  • Professional knowledge of ISO 9001 and relevant quality standards.

We are looking for a Quality Engineer on a day rate till the end of November.

The Essential requirement is :

  • Technical/Quality Management qualification HNC or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in quality assurance within EPCm project environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pipelines and associated welding codes like BS 4515 and/or API 1104.
  • Professional knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
  • Experience with quality auditing techniques and tools (e.g., ISO 19011).
  • Familiarity with engineering and procurement documentation and workflows.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification as a Lead Auditor.
  • Experience of involvement in achieving mechanical completion on projects, up to pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

The desirable requirement is :

  • Member of CQI
  • Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure projects.
  • Previous experience of working as a senior pipeline inspector/engineer.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suit
  • Experience of working with and monitoring the right first time (R1T) process from implementation throughout the project lifecycle for compliance and effectiveness.
