Summary: The Quality Lab Analyst role at the Montrose site in Angus, Scotland, involves managing operational quality laboratory activities to ensure compliance and efficiency. The analyst will perform routine and non-routine analyses using various analytical techniques while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine analysis on IPC, raw materials, manufactured, and stability samples using classical and chromatographic techniques.
- Interface with other quality directorate parts to ensure smooth product flow and escalate significant quality or compliance issues.
- Utilize performance management tools for continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, and compliance.
- Participate in audit teams and support continuous improvement initiatives using GPS tools.
- Train staff in analytical techniques and ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practice.
- Manage deviation and change management processes professionally and timely.
- Support other analyses as directed by the Quality Laboratory Leader.
Key Skills:
- Experience in a Quality Control lab or equivalent.
- Competency in analytical techniques such as chromatography.
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (cGLP) and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with M-ERP and other IT systems for data management.
- Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
