Quality Control Lab Analyst

Summary: The Quality Lab Analyst role at the Montrose site in Angus, Scotland, involves managing operational quality laboratory activities to ensure compliance and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine analysis on IPC, raw materials, manufactured, and stability samples using classical and chromatographic techniques.
• Interface with other quality directorate parts to ensure smooth product flow and escalate significant quality or compliance issues.
• Utilize performance management tools for continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, and compliance.
• Participate in audit teams and support continuous improvement initiatives using GPS tools.
• Train staff in analytical techniques and ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practice.
• Manage deviation and change management processes professionally and timely.
• Support other analyses as directed by the Quality Laboratory Leader.

Key Skills:

• Experience in a Quality Control lab or equivalent.
• Competency in analytical techniques such as chromatography.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (cGLP) and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with M-ERP and other IT systems for data management.
• Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
