Summary: The Civil QC Inspector role in Wales involves overseeing quality control for decommissioning and Carbon Capture projects. The inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections on various construction elements and ensuring compliance with the Quality Control Plan. Key Responsibilities:
- Follow procedures, complete Quality Records, and issue NCRs.
- Verify foundations, reinforcements, and on-site preparation.
- Monitor conditions during pouring and curing.
- Check certifications: mix design, chemical/grain analysis, sampling.
- Review lab results (density, moisture, strength tests), casting and pouring execution, and material quality.
- Collect and manage all test, control, and inspection documentation.
- Ensure full traceability of civil works records in the final As-Built dossier.
- Oversee subcontractors’ QC/ITP compliance and witness inspections.
- Ensure adherence to the Quality Control Plan and secure required documentation.

Lead the charge in delivering civil works done right the first time.
Purpose
Join our client’s team as a Civil QC Inspector, reporting to the Quality Control Manager on decommissioning and Carbon Capture projects. You’ll carry out inspections on materials, equipment, steel structures, construction and installation activities, as well as HVAC systems, all in line with the QC Plan.
How You’ll Contribute
