  • Ability to measure close tolerance components to a high level of accuracy and repeatability
  • Demonstrable proficiency in using analogue and digital vernier callipers, height gauges, micrometres, etc.
  • Experienced in using a coordinated measurement machine (CMM) (highly desirable)
  • Working knowledge of BS8888
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Hands-on approach
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to assess priorities and work on own initiative

We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and highly organised Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our team on a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months covering maternity leave. This role is part of the Technologies group reporting to the QHSE Director. You will be responsible for the inspection of machined parts received at our Farnborough site so we are looking for someone with similar experience ideally within the manufacturing sector. The purpose of the role is to provide quality control inspection of drawn parts prior to their transfer to stock. Associated activities include preparing non-conformance reports and supporting suppliers to continually improve.
