Summary: TEXO Fabrication is seeking a Quality Control Engineer for a contract role lasting 2-3 months. The position focuses on maintaining product quality in line with company standards and client specifications, as well as managing inspection and non-conformance reporting processes. The role requires collaboration with staff to ensure compliance with quality management system (QMS) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain workshop and product quality in accordance with company QMS and client specifications
  • Generate, maintain, and ensure compliance to Project Inspection & Test Plans
  • Create and maintain Weld Logs and Weld Maps prior to issuing to production
  • Perform or ensure pre-welding dimensional and fit-up inspection is completed
  • Perform post-weld final dimensional inspection
  • Perform pre-delivery inspection
  • Report, investigate, resolve, and close out quality non-conformances
  • Generate non-conformance report and CARs
  • Create and maintain project and client MRB records
  • Assist TEXO staff to understand company QMS requirements

Key Skills:

  • Experience in quality control and assurance processes
  • Knowledge of QMS and compliance standards
  • Ability to create and maintain inspection and test plans
  • Proficiency in welding inspection and documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills for non-conformance issues
  • Effective communication skills for staff training and collaboration
