Summary: The Quality Control Assistant role is a temporary maternity cover position for 12 months, focused on monitoring quality performance metrics and maintaining quality documentation in support of the Quality Management System (QMS). The role involves conducting process audits, reporting on supplier performance, and ensuring proper documentation is maintained. The position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Training will be provided for specific tasks related to ISO 9001 standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on quality performance metrics to management
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, such as work instructions and quality records to support QMS
- Perform process audits to ISO 9001 standards
- Report on supplier performance metrics and liaise with Purchasing
- Ensure quality records are stored and maintained in the online archive
- Process job signoffs ensuring all required documentation is present
- Any other ad hoc duties as and when required
Key Skills:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience in conducting audits to ISO 9001 standard (desirable)
