Summary: The Quality Conformance Engineer role at a leading aerospace company in Broughton involves overseeing the industrialisation of major modifications and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The position requires expertise in project management, APQP implementation, and operational quality oversight, with a focus on resolving complex quality issues and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure the seamless industrialisation of Major Modifications, Synchronised Targeted Embodiment Points Mods, Incremental Developments, Full Developments, and Major Industrial Transfers.
- Prioritise Production Organisation Approvals to uphold product safety and regulatory compliance.
- Provide quality-focused input in assessments such as risk evaluations, cross-functional reviews, planning sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience implementing and driving adherence to APQP principles and quality standards.
- Expertise in leading and facilitating Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA) for design, process, and machinery.
- Strong capability in developing and revising Control Plans.
- Experience in organising and conducting Production Process Verification.
- Ability to lead forecasting activities related to the Cost of Non-Quality.
