Summary: The Quality Conformance & Lineside Engineer role in Broughton focuses on supporting the quality industrialization of aircraft modifications. The engineer will be responsible for resolving complex quality issues and driving continuous improvement projects. This position requires a sound understanding of aircraft manufacturing processes and relevant quality methodologies. The contract is initially set until December 2026, with potential for future shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the resolution of complex quality issues and continuous improvement projects.
  • Set measurement standards and facilitate improvements to increase performance, reliability, and repeatability of processes.
  • Deploy APQP and Quality Standards.
  • Support and facilitate Failure Mode & Effect Analysis.
  • Create and update Control Plans to incorporate modifications as required.
  • Lead cost of non-quality forecasting.
  • Provide lineside support during start of production phases.

Key Skills:

  • Sound understanding of aircraft manufacturing and process improvements.
  • Experience with preventative and quality methods.
  • Knowledge of modifications on aircraft.
  • Familiarity with APQP, FMEA, CP, and PPV methods.

Salary (Rate): £31.90/hr

QUALITY CONFORMANCE & LINESIDE ENGINEER

New contract opportunity available in Broughton for a Quality Conformance Engineer to support the quality industrialization of Aircraft modifications

On-site in Broughton

£31.90ph via Umbrella

35-hour week over 4.5 days

Potential for a Double Day Shift pattern in the future (includes a 20% increase)

Initial contract until December 2026

BPSS clearance required

WHAT WILL THE QUALITY CONFORMANCE & LINESIDE ENGINEER ENGINEER BE DOING?

The main responsibility will be to drive the resolution of complex quality issues and continuous improvement projects by setting the measurement standards and facilitating improvements to increase performance, reliability and repeatability of processes.

Other roles include:

  • Deploying APQP and Quality Standards
  • Supporting & Facilitating Failure Mode & Effect Analysis
  • Creating & updating Control Plans to incorporate modifications as required
  • Leading cost of non-quality forecasting
  • Providing lineside support during start of production phases
