Summary: The Quality Assurance Test Manager at the British Red Cross is responsible for driving quality in technology delivery by championing testing frameworks and collaborating with project teams. This role involves leading test execution, managing external testing vendors, and overseeing the testing budget. The position is pivotal in ensuring high-quality outcomes across the Technology Department. This is an 18-month fixed-term contract with flexible working arrangements available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion and uphold testing frameworks, standards, and processes across all delivery teams.
- Collaborate with project teams to elevate testing competency and ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes.
- Lead test execution alongside delivery teams, taking full accountability for successful completion to expected quality benchmarks.
- Oversee external testing vendors—selecting top talent and ensuring alignment with best practice standards.
- Own the testing budget: review allocations, manage supplier costs, and ensure financial efficiency across projects.

- Proven experience of implementing project test quality assurance frameworks.
