QA / Test Engineer (Automation) - £310 per day Inside IR35 - Hybrid / Newcastle / Manchester / Leeds
We are looking for a skilled and self-sufficient QA / Test Engineer with strong test automation and programming skills to join a major government programme - Attendance Allowance space.
This is a hands-on automation role working with other Test Engineers to ensure the functionality, usability and reliability of systems built on a micro-service architecture.
Key experience:
- Strong test automation & programming background
- Experience testing applications in micro-services
- Agile ways of working - developing test strategy with engineers
- Shift-left principles - CI/CD & continuous testing in pipelines
- Building & maintaining automated tests for UI's & API's
- BDD frameworks - Cucumber
- UI automation - Selenium, Cypress or Playwright
- API automation - Rest-Assured
Desirable:
- Non-functional testing - Performance, Security & Accessibility
