Summary: The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer will join a pioneering Hydrogen Energy developer in South Wales, focusing on ensuring quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. This role offers a competitive daily rate based on experience and is available for both part-time and full-time candidates. The position is initially a 2-month contract with the potential for extension, starting on April 1, 2026. The role is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work with high-pressure systems, control systems, and compliance with Atex and PSSR regulations.
- Collaborate with teams in heavy industries such as Oil & Gas, Steel, Power Plants, and Renewables.
- Provide support and expertise in both high and low voltage systems.
Key Skills:
- A degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Proven experience in heavy industry sectors.
- Experience with high-pressure systems and control systems.
- Knowledge of Atex, PSSR, and high and low voltage systems.

The Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer role comes with a daily rate of £450-£500 per day depending on experience.

Location, day rate and timeframe of the Site Manager role Initially 2 month contract, with possibility of extension. Starting 1st April 2026. Outside IR35. Baglan, South Wales location. Open to people looking for either part-time or full-time. Monday-Friday. If part-time, there is some flexibility on days you can work.
