Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing Quality Standards: Defining, negotiating, and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards, and specifications based on client needs, industry regulations, and business goals.
- Executing Testing and Inspections: Performing manual or automated tests, conducting inspections, and monitoring processes to ensure compliance with defined standards and to identify defects or errors.
- Collaborating on Issue Resolution: Working closely with development, production, and management teams to investigate the root causes of problems and ensure timely implementation of fixes and corrective actions.
- Monitoring and Reporting Metrics: Gathering and analysing data on defects, performance, and customer complaints to produce reports for management and identify trends for improvement.
Key Skills:
- Proven QA and Clerk of Works experience essential.
- Deep understanding of building trades, materials, methods, and complex specifications.
- Knowledge of Building Regulations, Health & Safety laws, and contract law (JCT, NHBC).
- Ability to diagnose defects, check work against drawings, and assess material quality.

Quality Assurance (QA) / Clerk of Works required working on my clients Solar Farm projects around the UK. Please note you must have: A valid CSCS card. Full driving licence. A UTR number under CIS (Sole trader scheme). You must be happy to travel around and stay overnight occasionally. Travel and accommodation will be covered.
