Summary: The Quality Assurance Officer role involves supporting the QA manager in maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality Management System for a client in Hertfordshire. The position requires ensuring compliance with internal quality procedures and managing deviations, complaints, and CAPAs. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months. The candidate must have experience in a QA capacity and the right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the QA manager with the maintenance and effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
  • Ensure deviations, CAPAs, and change controls are progressed in a compliant and timely manner.
  • Investigate and communicate customer complaints satisfactorily.
  • Understand and accurately follow internal quality procedures and GMDP in accordance with guidelines and legislations.

Quality Assurance Officer - UK, Hertfordshire - 12 Month Contract

Our client manufactures and sells its own forms of various generic and legacy medicines, using Prescription Only Medicines (POMs). They are looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to work on their project based in Hertfordshire, on a fixed term contract.

What You'll Do

  • Supporting the QA manager (RP/RPi) with the maintenance and effectiveness of the Quality management system.
  • Ensure Deviations, CAPAs and change controls for which you are the owner are progressed in a compliant and timely manner
  • Ensure customer complaints are satisfactorily investigated and communicated
  • Understand, and accurately follow internal quality procedures and GMDP in accordance with guidelines and legislations.

What you'll need:

  • Experience having worked in an QA capacity
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Understanding of quality management systems
  • Experienced in management of Deviations, Complaints, Change controls and CAPA
  • Ability to review documents and generate PQR
