Summary: The Quality Assurance Officer will support the Quality Assurance Department in implementing and maintaining the HCPC's Quality Assurance Framework, focusing on delivering high-quality services and fostering continuous improvement. The role involves conducting quality assurance activities, analyzing data, and providing feedback to enhance decision-making processes within the organization. Additionally, the officer will assist in promoting equality and diversity while ensuring compliance with information security policies. This position is integral to the Assurance and Compliance department's mission of driving learning and improvement across the HCPC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery and development of the Quality Assurance Framework.
  • Undertake regular and ad-hoc quality assurance activities, including audits, reviews, assessments, and advisory work.
  • Gather information, data, and evidence related to QA activities.
  • Collate, analyze, and draw conclusions on organizational information and data.
  • Provide timely and independent feedback to the audit lead on decision-making quality.
  • Identify opportunities for development and continual improvement and discuss them with QA Managers.
  • Understand and adhere to information security requirements.
  • Carry out responsibilities with regard to the HCPC's Equality and Diversity Policy.
  • Assist the QA Programme Lead with other departmental activities as needed.
