Summary: The Quality Assurance Officer at Taiko Foods is responsible for ensuring that all products meet high standards of quality and safety through regular inspections and compliance with food safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and implement quality control procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality management systems.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Audit Critical Control Points (CCPs) and conduct Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) audits.
  • Investigate complaints and check products against factory specifications.
  • Monitor temperature of chillers and freezers, conducting daily checks.
  • Quarantine non-conforming products and report to the QA Manager.
  • Maintain documented records of inspections and checks as required by the QMS.
  • Lead by example in compliance with procedures and assist with training Quality Controllers.
  • Ensure all technical equipment is calibrated and in working condition.
  • Participate in taste panels and report daily wastage records.
  • Assist with other jobs within the Technical Department as required.
