Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the organisation’s ISO 9001-aligned Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Lead certification, surveillance, and recertification audits, acting as the primary interface with external auditors
  • Maintain and continuously improve quality governance, policies, procedures, and control frameworks
  • Embed quality management principles into engineering delivery, projects, and operational processes
  • Manage non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support supplier and supply-chain quality assurance activities
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, engineering teams, and operations to drive a strong quality culture

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in an ISO 9001 Quality / QMS Manager or governance role
  • Strong background operating within engineering, manufacturing, or technical environments
  • Hands-on experience leading internal and external ISO audits
  • Practical approach to quality risk, process improvement, and compliance
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification (desirable)
  • Experience working within regulated or safety-critical engineering environments (desirable)
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) (desirable)

Salary (Rate): £700 daily

ISO 9001 Quality Governance Manager Kidderminster (On-site / Hybrid) £500–£700 per day, outside IR35, subject to determination Contract We are seeking an experienced ISO 9001 Quality Governance Manager to support an engineering-led organisation based in Kidderminster . This role will suit a hands-on quality professional with strong governance experience in technical and delivery-focused environments.
