Summary: The Quality Assurance Engineer at Sizewell B Power Station is responsible for testing products and systems to ensure compliance with quality standards. This role involves developing test plans, executing tests, and collaborating with teams to resolve issues while enhancing processes to prevent defects. The position is fixed-term until July 3, 2026, and includes a shift pattern of 13 on and 1 off with 10-hour shifts. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse requirements and design test plans
- Create and execute manual and automated test cases
- Report, track, and document defects using test management tools
- Interpret and record test results accurately
- Review user experience, design, and usability for consistency
- Suggest improvements and solutions with fabrication issues
- Monitor product development for compliance with standards and guidelines
- Document procedures, test scripts, and outcomes
- Provide feedback to improve product reliability and usability
- Understand NDT principles and review results
- Create Life Time Record packs
- Conduct surveillance tours and create reports
- Engineer Technical Queries when required
- Ensure correct welding consumables have been selected
- Conduct QA Audits

- To be CTC cleared or willing to undergo this
- To have a valid CCNSG Safety Passport
- To be willing to travel if not local to site with lodge and travel paid to NAECI blue book

This will be for outage works with 13 on 1 off shift pattern + 10 hour shifts! You will have an hourly bonus on top of the above rate of £2.37 + £2 responsibility bonus!
