Summary: The role of Quality Assurance Engineer at Once For All involves a hands-on approach to the design, implementation, and support of innovative technology solutions within a dynamic development team. The position requires significant interaction with internal business teams and product owners, emphasizing both technical skills and commercial awareness. The successful candidate will focus on automated testing within an Agile environment, contributing to the software delivery lifecycle. This is a 6-month contract role with a daily rate of £450 to £500.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support next-generation technology solutions.
- Plan, design, and execute automated testing as part of continuous integration and deployment practices.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using JavaScript.
- Collaborate with internal business teams and product owners.
- Support the Agile software development life cycle.
Key Skills:
- Experience with TestCafe, Protractor, Playwright, or Cypress.io with Typescript/Javascript.
- Experience in QA roles within a continuous integration and deployment environment.
- Significant experience using automation tools like Selenium, Specflow, BrowserStack, SauceLabs.
- Experience testing .NET C# services, REST APIs, and message-based systems.
- Familiarity with Postman/Swagger.
- Experience in writing BDD Tests using Gherkin (Cucumber).
- Strong .NET/C# and general scripting knowledge.
- Experience in Performance Testing using JMeter, Gatling, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of database queries.
- Experience testing Angular and React applications.
