Key Responsibilities:
- Performing manual and automated testing of REST APIs, decisioning components, and end-to-end integration workflows
- Conducting JSON schema validation, payload structure checks, and API contract verification
- Reviewing and validating API documentation using Swagger and OpenAPI specifications
- Developing Python scripts for simulation, test automation, and data validation
- Preparing, maintaining, and executing test plans, test cases, and use cases
- Validating decision strategy outputs, API request and response mappings, and ODS data
- Logging, tracking, and managing defects using JIRA and producing XRAY execution reports
- Working closely with development, business analysis, and strategy teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Participating in Agile ceremonies and supporting performance and monitoring activities where required

Summary of the role: We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in manual and automated testing, REST API validation, JSON schema validation, and Python-based simulation. This role focuses on validating end-to-end workflows across credit cards, loans, and lending platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of decisioning logic, API behaviour, data flows, and system integrations within complex banking environments. The role requires strong communication skills, effective collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams, and the ability to work independently with a high level of ownership and accountability.
As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:
- Performing manual and automated testing of REST APIs, decisioning components, and end-to-end integration workflows
- Conducting JSON schema validation, payload structure checks, and API contract verification
- Reviewing and validating API documentation using Swagger and OpenAPI specifications
