Summary: Join Everyone TV as a Senior QA Engineer on a 12-month fixed-term contract to enhance the quality of their connected TV ecosystem. You will design test frameworks, lead testing efforts, and collaborate with manufacturers and broadcasters to ensure a seamless viewing experience. The role requires strong technical relationship management and expertise in various QA processes and technologies. This position is based in central London with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design test frameworks for connected TV applications.
- Lead device and app testing initiatives.
- Collaborate with TV manufacturers and broadcasters.
- Ensure quality and performance for millions of viewers.
- Manage technical relationships effectively.
- Conduct debugging, log analysis, and performance testing.
- Utilize knowledge of TV technologies, IP video playback, and HbbTV applications.
- Implement process automation and internal tooling.
- Explore AI applications to enhance testing efficiency.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in QA for software or consumer devices.
- Expertise in debugging and log analysis.

We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to drive quality across our connected TV ecosystem. You’ll design test frameworks, lead device and app testing, and work directly with TV manufacturers and broadcasters to ensure millions of viewers get a seamless experience. With strong experience in technical relationship management, QA for software or consumer devices, you’ll bring expertise in debugging, log analysis, performance testing and a solid understanding of TV technologies, IP video playback and HbbTV applications. Knowledge of DRM systems (e.g., PlayReady, Widevine), cloud technologies or Linux/Unix, and tools such as Jira, Confluence Git and GitHub Actions is essential. Experience building process automation and internal tooling and an interest in using AI to enhance testing efficiency would be highly valuable.
