Summary: The role of a User Acceptance Tester (UAT Tester) at AutoProtect Group involves validating business requirements and ensuring software solutions are user-friendly and compliant before launch. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including developers and business analysts, to execute UAT testing and document defects. The UAT Tester will also contribute to test planning and support decision-making regarding project delivery. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for 12 months based in Harlow, England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, developers, and project teams to understand functional requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and execute UAT test scenarios, scripts, and cases based on business requirements.
- Coordinate and conduct UAT testing sessions with business users.
- Perform manual testing across applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using test management tools.
- Work closely with software developers to understand the code base and test coverage.
- Communicate testing progress, results, and issues to stakeholders.
- Participate in triage meetings to assess defects' severity and priority.
- Validate fixes and perform retesting of resolved issues.
- Ensure sign-off criteria for UAT are met and support go/no-go decisions.
- Provide input into test planning and overall project delivery timelines.
- Perform other reasonable duties as required.
