Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing across web and mobile applications.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to review requirements, identify edge cases, and ensure full test coverage.
- Own the end-to-end QA process, from planning to execution and reporting.
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Identify, document, and track defects in issue tracking systems like Jira.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
- Mentor junior QA team members (if applicable) and advocate for quality best practices across the organization.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in a QA engineering role, preferably in a software or SaaS environment.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java).
- Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger, or REST-assured.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into workflows.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
