Summary: Join a global technology leader as a Quality Assurance Engineer, focusing on automation and testing excellence within a cutting-edge software environment. This role involves collaborating with development and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality digital products. The position is based in London with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring three days in the office each week. The contract is initially for 12 months and falls inside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Championing a culture of quality, performance and teamwork across projects
- Collaborating with business analysts and developers to identify and resolve potential issues early
- Designing detailed test plans, user scenarios and validation procedures
- Managing and configuring test environments and tools
- Executing manual and automated testing (JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Troubleshooting and validating new software releases, including end-user documentation
- Leading automation best practices and mentoring others on quality standards
Key Skills:
- Experience in QA and software testing, ideally within Agile environments
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC and Agile processes
- Proficiency with automated testing tools (Playwright a plus)
- Experience with databases, version control and visual testing
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Passion for innovation, collaboration and high-quality delivery
- Highly desirable: ISTQB certification, performance testing or client support experience
Salary (Rate): £400 daily
