Summary: The role of Quality Assurance Engineer at Once For All involves a hands-on approach to designing, implementing, and supporting next-generation technology solutions within a dynamic development team. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and commercial awareness, with significant interaction with internal business teams and product owners. The QA Engineer will focus on automated testing within an Agile environment, ensuring quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle. This is a 6-month contract role with a daily rate of £450 to £500.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support automated testing solutions.
- Plan, design, and execute automated tests as part of continuous integration and deployment practices.
- Collaborate with internal business teams and product owners to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Support the Agile software development lifecycle.
- Utilize automation tools to enhance the QA strategy.
Key Skills:
- Experience with TestCafe, Protractor, Playwright, or Cypress.io with Typescript/Javascript.
- Significant experience in QA roles within a continuous integration and deployment environment.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Specflow, BrowserStack, and SauceLabs.
- Experience testing .NET C# services, REST APIs, and message-based systems.
- Familiarity with Postman/Swagger and writing BDD Tests using Gherkin (Cucumber).
- Strong .NET/C# and general scripting knowledge.
- Experience in performance testing using JMeter, Gatling, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of database queries.
- Experience testing Angular and React applications.
