Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QA Strategy: Help design and implement our overall QA/testing approach, processes, and standards
- Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for our data management platform
- Test Planning & Execution: Create comprehensive test plans, test data sets, and scenarios to validate system functionality across multiple environments
- Quality Management: Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle for new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and system changes
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance our QA processes, methodologies, and tools
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, product, and operations teams to understand requirements and integrate quality practices throughout the development cycle
- Documentation: Maintain clear, detailed documentation of test cases, procedures, and quality metrics
- Defect Management: Identify, document, track, and verify resolution of defects with meticulous attention to detail
- CI/CD Integration: Contribute to and improve our continuous integration/continuous deployment pipeline
- Reporting: Communicate testing progress, results, and quality insights to stakeholders
Key Skills:
- Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
- Experience with programming/scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar)
- Solid understanding of API testing and tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing for data validation
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
