Summary: Our client is looking for a QA Engineer for a freelance B2B contract lasting 6 months, with the possibility of extensions. The role requires a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days on-site in Belfast and 2 days remote, focusing on building tests for CI pipelines. Candidates must have a strong background in automation testing and be able to commute or relocate to Belfast. The position is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proven track record as an Automation QA Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks, specifically SpecFlow and/or Cucumber.
- Strong experience with modern UI automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium.
- Experience in testing APIs (REST/GraphQL).
- Basic programming/scripting skills (ideally in C# to align with the backend).
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- JMeter-based Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline creation for automated performance analysis.
- Postgres DB performance analysis under load.
- GraphQL-based system performance analysis.
- Conduct server-side performance tests using JMeter, Influx, and Grafana via CI/CD with load monitoring via Influx and Grafana using Docker on AWS EC2.
Key Skills:
- Automation QA Engineer experience.
