Summary: Our client is looking for a QA Engineer for a freelance B2B contract lasting 6 months, with the possibility of extensions. The role requires a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days on-site in Belfast and 2 days remote. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automation testing and experience with CI/CD pipelines. Relocation to Belfast is necessary for candidates not currently based there.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and execute tests that run in CI pipelines.
- Conduct server-side performance tests using JMeter, Influx, and Grafana.
- Perform Postgres DB performance analysis under load.
- Analyze performance of GraphQL-based systems.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Key Skills:
- Proven track record as an Automation QA Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks, specifically SpecFlow and/or Cucumber.
- Strong experience with modern UI automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium.
- Experience in testing APIs (REST/GraphQL).
- Basic programming/scripting skills, ideally in C#.
- Experience with JMeter-based Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline creation.

Skills and Responsibilities:
- Proven track record as an Automation QA Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks, specifically SpecFlow and/or Cucumber.
- Strong experience with modern UI automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium.

- Basic programming/scripting skills (ideally in C# to align with the backend).
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
