Summary: The Quality Assurance and Enhancement Manager will support the Quality & Partnerships Directorate in aligning academic regulations following a university merger. This temporary role involves being the initial point of contact for inquiries, contributing to quality assurance activities, and supporting partnership processes. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and the ability to manage both proactive and reactive tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the initial point of contact in the Quality and Partnerships Directorate for inquiries and requests.
  • Support institutional or school-based quality assurance and enhancement activities.
  • Write or contribute to quality assurance related reports, including research and data analysis.
  • Provide advice on programme modifications and ensure compliance with processes.
  • Support committees and groups for partnership working, including meeting attendance and minute taking.
  • Assist in the partnership approval process and contract preparation.
  • Coordinate research and due diligence processes for strategic decision-making regarding partnerships.
  • Maintain and monitor the partnership register and support institutional reviews of partnerships.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support service delivery.

Key Skills:

  • First degree or equivalent experience in a university setting.
  • Familiarity with programme-based quality assurance processes.
  • Experience in minute taking and report writing.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good practical IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Clear oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems and provide solutions.
  • Adaptability to unforeseen challenges and changes.
