Summary: A QHSE Lead is sought by a well-established engineering and manufacturing business in Fife to oversee site-wide health, safety, environmental, and quality performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for site QHSE performance, policies and compliance
- Develop and maintain structured frameworks to support continuous improvement
- Lead internal audits, ensuring actions are implemented and standards upheld
- Produce regular performance reports for senior stakeholders
- Support the wider leadership team in driving a strong safety-first culture
- Manage and develop a small team, addressing skills gaps where needed
- Maintain risk assessments and environmental registers
- Ensure legal and internal compliance requirements are consistently met
- Lead investigations into incidents, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Coordinate training to maintain workforce competence
- Act as the main contact for regulatory bodies and external stakeholders
- Oversee quality activities, ensuring systems and processes remain effective
Key Skills:
- Background in HSE, Quality or a related discipline
- Experience managing ISO standards
- Proven track record in a similar leadership role within manufacturing or engineering
- Confident communicator, able to engage across all levels
