QCL Analyst - HPLC

Summary: The QCL Analyst position at a leading multi-national Pharma client in Speke involves performing laboratory analyses and maintaining compliance with EHS and cGMP requirements. The role requires HPLC experience and includes responsibilities such as sample handling, equipment calibration, and training other staff. This is a 12-month contract position with a pay rate of up to £14.00 per hour PAYE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain laboratory and office areas in compliance with EHS and cGMP requirements.
• Archive completed laboratory documentation in a timely manner.
• Perform all aspects of sample handling, including receipt, storage, and disposal.
• Liaise with Supervision and planners to prioritize workload to meet lead times and customer service levels.
• Conduct chemical and/or microbial analyses of materials and report results using standard laboratory systems.
• Update statistical monitoring charts in a timely manner.
• Conduct equipment calibrations, maintenance, and IQ/OQ as trained.
• Train other QCL staff in relevant tasks as appropriate.

Key Skills:

• Science degree.
• HPLC experience with at least 2+ years of industry experience.
