Quality Assurance Tester £35,000 - £40,000 (dependent on relevant skills and experience) plus generous benefits 1 Year Fixed Term Maternity Cover until January 2027 Location – Hybrid working split between the Foundation’s office in London and home. This usually averages at one-two days in the office per week.

As Quality Assurance Tester, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding the quality and performance of our digital platforms, including our application portal and D365 Grant Management System. You’ll plan, execute, and automate tests across web and mobile applications, ensuring every feature meets our quality benchmarks and delivers a seamless experience for grant applicants and Foundation team members alike. In this role, you’ll build strong cross-team relationships in a collaborative, supportive environment. Working closely with the technology development team and other stakeholders, you’ll integrate testing into development workflows, to ensure all development outputs meet established quality criteria through comprehensive testing and issue tracking. What are we looking for?

If you’re a proactive, detail-oriented QA Tester, with a passion for delivering high-quality digital products, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, as well as extensive knowledge of different testing methods, with experience of both manual and automated testing techniques. You’ll have experience with test automation (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman), familiarity with HTML and JavaScript and an understanding of API testing and web services validation. You’ll also be a strong communicator who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional teams and can confidently work with developers, as well as other non-technical stakeholders across the organisation. You don’t need to follow football to apply, but it’s expected that you appreciate the power of sport to change lives and have a genuine interest in using your skills and experience to help the Foundation achieve our charitable and strategic objectives.

What can we offer you?

The salary band for this role is £35,000-£40,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience. This role is a 1 Year Fixed Term Maternity Cover until January 2027 You will start with 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (which increases after 2 years), plus additional time off to volunteer.
