Summary: The QA Tester – SC Cleared role involves coordinating test activities and performing both manual and automated testing within Agile delivery teams. The position requires the use of an FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company due to its inside IR35 classification. Candidates must have been in the UK for at least six months over the past five years. The role emphasizes collaboration with delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating test activities and performing manual and automated testing on projects.
- Writing a Test Approach document and defining test activities, tasks, and deliverables.
- Documenting test coverage matrix on projects and carrying out Functional System Testing and Integration Testing.
- Supporting E2E testing on one or more projects and analyzing customer requirements and technical documentation.
- Identifying test scenarios, writing test scripts (manual and automated), and preparing test data.
- Providing regular test status reports to Project Managers, identifying, and raising project & product risks and issues.
Key Skills:
- ISTQB Software Foundation Certification.
- Experience in Functional System Testing (writing and executing tests).
- Experience in Test Automation (e.g., BDD framework, API framework, Python).
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins).
- Strong skills in SQL, Oracle, or other databases.
- ETL experience and AWS experience.
- Ability to define and document Test Approaches and Test Completion reports.
- Proficiency with JIRA and Test Management Tools (e.g., Jira Zephyr Scale).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Integration Testing and Agile methodology.

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for QA Tester – SC Cleared.
This role will be Inside of IR35, so you will be required to use an FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company.
Must not have been outside of the UK for more than 6 months in the last 5 years.
Key Requirements:
– Coordinating the test activities and performing manual and automated testing on projects.
– The role will involve working in Agile delivery teams:
* Writing a Test Approach document.
* Defining the test activities, tasks and deliverables.
* Documenting test coverage matrix on projects.
* Carrying out Functional System Testing and Integration Testing.
* Supporting E2E testing on one or more projects.
* Analysing customer requirements and technical documentation.
* Identifying test scenarios, writing test scripts (manual and automating tests).
* Test data preparation and executing manual and automated tests.
– This role requires an excellent understanding of test techniques and Risk Based Testing (RBT) in order to verify outcomes against the expected results.
– The QA will be working closely with the delivery team, key project stakeholders and other external supplier test teams to achieve successful delivery and the required business objectives.
– Providing regular test status reports to the Project Managers, identifying, and raising project & product risks and issues.
Key Skills:
