Summary: The QA Tester - Manual - Banking role involves supporting changes across legacy banking systems and modern digital platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute functional, regression, integration and UAT support across multiple platforms
- Analyse requirements, produce test cases and maintain full traceability
- Validate system behaviour, business rules and data flows across Legacy applications
- Work with developers, BAs and operations teams to clarify expected outcomes
- Log defects clearly and track them through to resolution
- Support release planning, test readiness, and environment checks
- Provide clear, concise reporting on test progress, risks and defects
- Contribute to continuous improvement across QA processes and standards
Key Skills:
- Strong background as a manual QA/Test Analyst within banking or financial services
- Experience working with Legacy/older systems, Mainframe-style screens or platform integrations
- Good understanding of customer journeys, operations workflows and business processes
- Ability to write high-quality test cases, scenarios and documentation
- Solid communication and stakeholder skills, with a collaborative approach
- Familiarity with structured governance, defect management and controlled test environments
- Awareness of SQL for interrogating databases
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid environments
