Summary: The QA Tester - Data Migration role at TrinityBridge involves contributing to strategic objectives through testing and quality assurance processes within a large-scale transformation project. The position requires experience in data migration projects and the application of various testing techniques to ensure high-quality outcomes. The candidate will work closely with the data migration team, engaging in both manual and automated testing processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain test strategies & plans
- Estimate test effort and quantify elapsed effort on deliverables & phases
- Engage with the business analysis team to ensure requirements are testable and traceable
- Prepare and execute manual test scripts for various testing phases
- Create and execute automated test scripts
- Identify areas of testing that can be automated
- Execute continuous testing and upgrades
- Ensure complete traceability of requirements to test cases and issue management
- Liaise with suppliers, teams, and team leaders
- Provide feedback to development teams via a structured defect management process
- Demonstrate understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role
- Follow compliance with internal and external rules and regulations

Overall Summary Join TrinityBridge Change Management Team where you will contribute to the delivery of the strategic objectives of TrinityBridge through the provision of testing and quality assurance processes. The current programme of change is designed to deliver major business transformational changes and ongoing BAU enhancements & efficiencies over a multi-year timeframe. Utilise a range of testing tools and techniques in order to deliver high quality testing assurance and business outcomes within the Change function and associated projects. The specific role is to work within the data migration team for a large-scale transformation project therefore, the candidate should have experience with previous data migration projects, data testing lifecycles and has used data migration testing techniques and associated tools.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintaining test strategies & plans
- Estimate the test effort required and quantify the elapsed effort on test deliverables & phases
- Engage with the business analysis team to ensure all requirements can translate to testable statements and are traceable through testing and sign off
- Prepare and execute manual test scripts for test phases such as System Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Regression testing
- Creation and execution of automated test scripts
- Identify areas of testing that can be automated
- Execute continuous testing and upgrades
- Complete traceability of requirements to test cases and issue management
- Liaise with suppliers, teams and team leaders
- Provide feedback to the development teams via a structured defect management process
Regulatory Responsibilities ¦ Compliance/T&C Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role, whilst practising effective risk management taking account of outcomes for clients. Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business. Follow principles and rules of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the internal requirements set out in the Compliance Manual, local and Group Compliance and Risk policies.
