Summary: The QA Tester (Application Testing) role involves supporting cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and user experience. The position requires proficiency in various testing functions, including test design and execution, while developing expertise in assigned workstreams. The tester will collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. This is a 12-month contract position based in Coral Springs or Plantation, Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute application testing processes for both internal and external systems, including end-to-end user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Develop and execute test scripts, ensuring accurate defect identification, documentation, and efficient retesting.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to troubleshoot real-time issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Build and maintain a strong understanding of system architecture and technical solutions being delivered.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps in testing processes and recommending enhancements.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Experience executing structured testing processes, including UAT.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
