Summary: The QA QC Engineer role involves supporting quality assurance and control for utility scale solar PV projects in York. The position requires working under a QA QC Manager to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. This is a fully site-based role, with a focus on maintaining quality standards and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The engineer will also engage in site inspections and collaborate closely with various teams to uphold quality performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support implementation and maintenance of the project Quality Management System
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with QA QC standards and specifications
- Review and manage project documentation and inspection records
- Conduct site inspections and support testing activities
- Identify non conformities and assist with corrective and preventive actions
- Work closely with site teams, subcontractors and management to maintain quality standards
- Support reporting on quality performance to the QA QC Manager
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with health and safety and project procedures
Key Skills:
- Experience in a QA QC role within solar, renewable or construction projects
- Background working on utility scale or ground mounted solar projects preferred
- Strong understanding of site quality processes and documentation
- Ability to work within an EPC environment
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Willingness to be site based full time in York

Overview
We are seeking a QA QC Engineer to support quality assurance and control across utility scale solar PV projects based in York.
This role will be working under a QA QC Manager, supporting the delivery of large scale EPC projects. You will play a key role in ensuring all works are completed in line with project specifications, standards, and compliance requirements.
The position is fully site based, 5 days per week with Saturday work available depending on programme requirements.

Essential Requirements
