Our consultancy client are looking for a couple of experienced QA engineers to work for one of their clients in the energy trading sector.
You will have experience of deciding when to automate tests and when execute them manually as there is typically a 70:30 split in favour of automated testing in the team.
You will need experience of BDD tools such as SpecFlow, ReqNRoll, Cucumber, or similar, to evolve a robust automation pack and developing fixtures (step definitions) in C#.
Building continuous integration approaches leveraging reporting tooling.
Previous experience of writing good automated Gherkin scenarios.
Strong SQL capability and testing event-driven architectures that leverage messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar message brokers.
Data flow and data mapping testing experience is required and you will need demonstrable experience of application testing and familiarity with application lifecycle management (ALM) tools such as Azure DevOps Server, Mingle, Jira, Rally or similar.
A strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies and associated test practices and the ability to define test techniques and coverage for testing of requirements.
These roles will be inside IR35 and you will need to be on site 2 days a week.
