About this role
- This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the testing and delivery of applications that support the next generation Broadband CPE, including Broadband Smart Hubs, Complete Wi-Fi and Hybrid Connect (4G) modems.
- You will need to work effectively as part of UK based agile squad, responsible for the testing of cutting edge client applications and Embedded devices, working alongside highly skilled software and networking developers and testers, within the Broadband Devices team.

Doing
- Develop automation test scripts for their next generation converged products and services
- Deliver resolutions to problems that tend to be complex, cross-domain or of high impact to customers.
- Provide technical quality assurance over work of other engineers through Matrix team structure
- Working effectively as part of Agile delivery squads
- Using scrum/JIRA/Wiki for tracking agile workflow deliveries
- Supporting proactive improvement initiatives
Skills and experience
- Extensive knowledge of Robot Framework
- Knowledge of python
- Knowledge of VMs and Containerisation
- Knowledge of Linux and Docker
- Using code revision, issue tracking and continuous integration tools, ie git, JIRA, Gitlab
- Good knowledge of Agile delivery methods and tools, eg scrum/JIRA/wiki
- Good knowledge of Broadband/Home Gateway standards, eg xDSL, FTTP, IPv4/IPv6, PPP, Wi-Fi, UPnP, 4G/5G mobile networks
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical material
- Ability to self-develop in required areas
