QA Engineer

Summary: The Senior QA Engineer role is a 10-month contract position based in Gaydon, focusing on ensuring quality deliverables for a Luxury Automotive OEM. The engineer will be responsible for managing customer acceptance testing and risk management while driving quality targets. Candidates must have valid eligibility to work in the UK and travel within the EU. The position offers hybrid working arrangements and requires a strong understanding of project management and quality assurance methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment and validations of Critical to Quality deliverables
• Ensure vehicles deliver quality targets and reduce Things Gone Wrong (TGW)
• Driving the Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) process
• Ensure that all programme deliverables are delivered robustly and on time
• Ensure risk and issues are being managed, via risk and recovery plans

Key Skills:

• Demonstrative understanding of programme and project management
• Specific knowledge of delivery frameworks (PCDS or other), deliverables and gateway governance
• Ability to present complex issues in a succinct and straightforward manner
• Experience of working with customer and competitor insight data
• Experience of the Failure Mode Avoidance methodology, within the systems engineering approach
