A global travel technology company is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join them on a contract basis. This role will play a key part in enhancing critical systems, developing and executing comprehensive test plans and cases. This is a contract role, working inside IR35 and will be based 3 days per week on site in Hounslow, West London.

What You'll Do

As a Quality Analyst, you will:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Perform both manual and automated testing across various applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to maintain quality throughout the software lifecycle.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionalities.
• Analyse test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Participate in design and code reviews, offering valuable quality perspectives.
• Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies.

Key Skills and Experience

• Experience: Proven track record as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium or JUnit.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Traits: Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Highly Desirable

• Experience in performance and/or security testing.
• Knowledge of programming languages (eg, Java, Python).
• Certifications in Quality Assurance (eg, ISTQB).
