Summary: The Electrical QA Engineer role involves overseeing quality assurance for a significant electrical installation project in Cambridge, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations until April 2026. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out quality inspections on electrical installations
- Ensure all works comply with drawings, specifications, and regulations
- Complete ITPs, snag lists, and quality documentation
- Liaise with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors
- Monitor testing & commissioning processes
- Ensure compliance with BS7671 and project QA procedures
- Support handover and final quality sign-off
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in an Electrical QA / Quality role
- Strong knowledge of electrical standards and regulations (BS7671)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Experience completing QA paperwork and inspections
- SSSTS / SMSTS (preferred)
- ECS / JIB Card (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills

ARC is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join a long-term project running until April 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major electrical installation project, ensuring all works are delivered to the highest quality and compliance standards.
Electrical QA Responsibilities
- Carry out quality inspections on electrical installations
- Ensure all works comply with drawings, specifications, and regulations
