Summary: As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the production and review of engineering documentation on Highways Frameworks, including the creation of RAMS and Job Packs. The role involves planning and programming using MS Projects and requires extensive experience in producing and reviewing construction documentation. You will also manage project quality plans and liaise with clients and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery of highways civils schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure site records are accurate and kept up to date
- Complete and update programmes (look a heads)
- Produce Inspection & Test Plans and maintain as-built records
- Management of the project quality plan
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other professional staff
- Completing QA / QC documentation
- Managing the progress of subcontractors
- Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, permits, etc.
- Working with the agents to ensure smooth delivery of highways civils schemes
- Reviewing designs and assessing buildability
- Submitting technical queries
Key Skills:
- CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and 3 Day First Aid certifications
- Experience as a Site / Senior Engineer / Sub Agent on Highways Civils schemes in the UK
- Extensive experience producing and reviewing construction documentation (including RAMS, QA/QC, ITPs, CPP, RFIs, TQs, etc)
- Proficiency in planning and programming on MS Projects
