Summary: We are looking for a QA Engineer to join a Vancouver-based startup focused on developing advanced SaaS infrastructure for video streaming. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement QA strategies for a complex multi-platform SaaS product.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing methodologies.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Execute manual and automated testing across Web, Android, iOS, and TV platforms.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and technical leadership throughout the SDLC.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
- Validate backend services, APIs, and microservices interactions.
- Establish measurable quality standards and acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to performance, scalability, and reliability testing initiatives.
- Participate in defining quality gates for product releases.
- Translate complex technical challenges into testable quality requirements.
- Continuously improve QA processes, automation practices, and overall product quality.
- Support engineering teams during rapid product growth and platform evolution.
