Key Responsibilities:
- Decipher business requirements and use cases.
- Write and develop new manual and automated end user test cases.
- Execution of manual and automated end user test cases.
- Track and report all results, problems and defects throughout the testing cycle using Azure DevOps.
- Represent testing team and participate in reviews of use cases and other requirements documentation to obtain an understanding of systems changes in preparation for test case development.
- Provide valuable input on process improvements.
- May mentor less experienced staff members.

Job Description: Develop and execute manual and automated test suites for new and existing software applications. This includes applying automated and manual testing methods and procedures, and generating reports, in a manner consistent with FHLB, Chicago Software Testing Policies and Standards. Ability to build and execute tests using automation (Selenium, Postman, C#) is critical. Knowledge of Core Banking, Accounting, and Financial Services, or the ability to quickly learn, is also critical.
Responsibilities:
- Decipher business requirements and use cases.
- Write and develop new manual and automated end user test cases.
- Execution of manual and automated end user test cases.
- Track and report all results, problems and defects throughout the testing cycle using Azure DevOps.

Knowledge & Abilities:
- Must have excellent communication (verbal, written) skills
- Requires a working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Waterfall, or Agile.
- Multi-tasking and time management abilities are a necessity.
- Ability to work at ease with both development and non-technical users.
- Requires the ability to grasp and understand business acumen.
- Ability to gather, query and evaulate large volumes of test data & test results.
- Ability to use Selenium, Postman, and C# to create automated tests and execute those tests
- Ability to learn and use Test Management System (TMS) to create and execute automated tests for the Summit application
