Key Responsibilities:

- Implement BDD/Gherkin for acceptance criteria mapping to automated tests.

Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a Quality Analyst to join them, the ideal candidate has strong experience working with Automation, Playwright/Cypress, Rest Assured, and API Testing.
This role is based in London.
This role will be Via Umbrella.
Working in a Hybrid Model of 2 days a week on site.
Key Skills and Experience
- 4+ years test automation experience across Front End and API layers.
- Proficient with Cypress or Playwright (Front End), REST Assured or Karate (API testing), and database validation against PostgreSQL.
- Experience building automated regression suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Jenkins).
- Performance testing capability using JMeter or Gatling - the platform must support ~12,000 concurrent users. Security testing awareness (OWASP top 10, authentication/authorisation boundary testing).
- Experience with BDD/Gherkin for mapping acceptance criteria to automated tests. Accessibility testing (WCAG AA) experience is a plus.
- Must be comfortable testing complex multi-role workflows - specifically the assessor independence requirement where Employee, Manager, and ITA score the same evidence without visibility of each other's scores.
