Summary: We are looking for a Data or Software Engineer with expertise in Power Apps and Python to join our team in Telford. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain custom applications using Power Apps, integrating with Microsoft 365 and other data sources.
- Develop robust, scalable scripts and tools using Python for data processing, automation, and analytics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including data analysts, product owners, and business users.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience developing solutions with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps).
- Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Flask or FastAPI.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Dataverse.
- Ability to mentor and support junior staff in technical development.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Data Factory) is desirable.
- Knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of data governance and security principles.
