Summary: The role of Infrastructure Engineer focuses on designing and developing scalable software solutions using AWS services, particularly databases, with a strong emphasis on Python and Terraform. The candidate will lead large-scale AWS infrastructure projects, ensuring operational stability and employing automation practices. This position requires extensive experience in system design and application development, along with mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate will also utilize development tools to enhance collaboration and project tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable software solutions leveraging AWS services, especially AWS database products.
  • Deliver system design, application development, testing, and ensure operational stability of solutions.
  • Lead and support large-scale AWS production workload infrastructure.
  • Utilize modern scripting languages and infrastructure as code practices to automate and streamline processes.
  • Work with AWS services for Traditional Compute, Containerization, and Serverless architectures.
  • Manage and drive technology projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivery timelines.
  • Employ automation and continuous delivery methods to optimize workflows and improve deployment cycles.
  • Leverage development toolsets such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence to track progress and collaborate effectively with teams.
  • Act as a key technical lead, mentoring junior team members and ensuring best practices are followed.

Key Skills:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in software development and design, with a focus on AWS services, particularly database products.
  • Hands-on experience in delivering system designs, application development, and maintaining operational stability.
  • Expertise in Python and Terraform is essential.
  • Proven experience in delivering and supporting large-scale AWS production workload infrastructure.
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS services, including traditional compute, containerization, and serverless architectures.
  • Proficient in using development tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
  • Strong experience leading technology projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in automation and continuous delivery practices.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • At least one AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect – Professional, Developer, Data Engineer) and Terraform Certified Associate certification.
