This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Track/PWay Engineer to join a major rail infrastructure programme delivering significant track and rail systems works.
This is a hands-on, construction-focused engineering position for someone who is comfortable working in a safety-critical rail environment and can take responsibility for both engineering activities and safety-critical technical paperwork.
This would suit an experienced Track Engineer who is confident both on site and with the associated engineering paperwork.
Requirements
- Strong previous experience as a Track/P-Way Engineer
- Strong knowledge of track construction and engineering
- Experience producing safety-critical technical paperwork
- Competence with 2D and 3D surveying equipment
- Strong setting-out experience
- Experience with machine control
- Track stressing experience
- A good understanding of rail safety and construction procedures
- HNC/HND/BEng in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- PTS
